Initially I wanted to blog about my writing morals and a MSN conversation between Yanting and I, but as I logged in, I realised she has used this account for her class' BLOG.
WELL. WELL.
WELLLLLLLL.
I didn't know her new class has a BLOG. Somehow I feel betrayed.
Maybe it's because I'm at that time of month and feeling very hormonal. Furthermore, I'm a writer. It's no wonder, then.
So,
since I've been very busy lately and had no time to be bored enough to
blog, I come only now to deliver this new entry before my father chases
me off the computer (in other words, before his TV show ends).
I
am between writing for myself and writing for the world. It's very easy
to say: "Write what you want!" But when it boils down to me wanting to
be a writer in the long run, I might have to write to win.
I never want to do that. But the problem is, I want to win too.
Pure-blooded Singaporean.
My
mother proves to be the most realistic: "Write for what you want. If
you want to win, write something you know will let you win."
My father proves to be the most unrealistic: "Just write about me."
What noble parents I have. It's a happy family.
Anyway, I tried to get Yanting to understand this emotional, confused me, but I didn't want to copy/paste everything in our MSN conversation, so I asked her to read my blog.
Tired man... is Yanting (obviously, with that suitable MSN name), and 敏 is me.
Tired man... says:

Tired man... says:

敏 says:

Tired man... says:

敏 says:

敏 says:

Laugh out loud. So, then, she goes on to say:
Tired man... says:

And, I, being ever-sensitive,
敏 says:
...
敏 says:
well
敏 says:
so now minesweeper is more important
Yanting keeps interrupting me on MSN.
敏 says:
never interrupt an emo writer
Tired man... says:

Tired man... says:
u r never an emo writer to me
Tired man... says:
u are an emo PERSON who's hormonal
We have fascinating, intelligent conversations, don't we?
At the end of my post, I apologise to Yanting. I always bully you with my emotional, overly-sensitive self. Thanks for being so forgiving.
Now I shall go watch the Chinese TV show my parents are pulling me to watch.
And wait for the FORGIVING Yanting's reaction to this post.
Ta!
