First post of 2011

Hi people, here's a post to revive this practically dead blog. (partially because im bored with nothing much to do at work also, but this is not the main point)

Anyway, since a picture speaks a thousand words, i shall start of with a picture that i took when i was in hong kong. And this is actually how i'm feeling right now -_-

Isn't it so cute? fluffy and nice:D just like a polar bear.. hehe.

Hai, it's has already been so long since I left NH and now JC, but whatever. A new part of our life have started and i hope that memories will not be forgotten.

Wanted to have some new year resolution, but after learning that statically, only 30% of females manage to accomplish their resolution, let's not really waste time ba. Haha. Wishing all all the best in your new year :D

I'm blogging! Here is one way to defeat boredom.

Join YOUTH CAMP!!! I had such a fantastic time at my church's (Victory Family Centre!) youth camp, themed MY GENERATION. Pastor Jude is awesome! I had such a great time with my reigon's youths. Heheh. We may be small, but we love each other!

I have a testimony! I was touched with the presence of God at camp. For a long time I was just resisting against Him, but then finally I just went, "GOD! I want You NOW!!!" and He appeared at the other side of a bridge and said, "You come to Me."

Does this make sense? Of course not! This is about God!

I started praying for my friends and I was so blessed as God worked through me. I want to keep that passion and spiritual awakening. I don't want to let go, but my own habits get in the way. I came home and cleaned up my life. I still get trouble, but I'm still growing.

Talk to me. I'll help you through your boredom :)

SO THAT'S HOW IT IS, HUH.

Initially I wanted to blog about my writing morals and a MSN conversation between Yanting and I, but as I logged in, I realised she has used this account for her class' BLOG.

WELL. WELL.

WELLLLLLLL.

I didn't know her new class has a BLOG. Somehow I feel betrayed.

Maybe it's because I'm at that time of month and feeling very hormonal. Furthermore, I'm a writer. It's no wonder, then.

So,
since I've been very busy lately and had no time to be bored enough to
blog, I come only now to deliver this new entry before my father chases
me off the computer (in other words, before his TV show ends).

I
am between writing for myself and writing for the world. It's very easy
to say: "Write what you want!" But when it boils down to me wanting to
be a writer in the long run, I might have to write to win.

I never want to do that. But the problem is, I want to win too.

Pure-blooded Singaporean.

My
mother proves to be the most realistic: "Write for what you want. If
you want to win, write something you know will let you win."

My father proves to be the most unrealistic: "Just write about me."

What noble parents I have. It's a happy family.

Anyway, I tried to get Yanting to understand this emotional, confused me, but I didn't want to copy/paste everything in our MSN conversation, so I asked her to read my blog.

Tired man... is Yanting (obviously, with that suitable MSN name), and 敏 is me.

Tired man... says:
okok
Tired man... says:
read it lata
敏 says:
hai
敏 says:
okok
敏 says:
did you ever wonder
敏 says:
if you keep saying lata
敏 says:
what if i died right now
敏 says:
at the computer
敏 says:
heart attack
敏 says:
then how?
Tired man... says:
OK! i shall read it ne
Tired man... says:
nw
Tired man... says:
can?
敏 says:
you will regret for life
敏 says:
FOR LIFE.
Tired man... says:
OKOK!!

Laugh out loud. So, then, she goes on to say:

Tired man... says:
ppl playing minesweeper halfway, u muz kajiao until like tt

And, I, being ever-sensitive,

敏 says:
...
敏 says:
well
敏 says:
so now minesweeper is more important

Yanting keeps interrupting me on MSN.

敏 says:
never interrupt an emo writer
Tired man... says:
wadeva
Tired man... says:
u r never an emo writer to me
Tired man... says:
u are an emo PERSON who's hormonal

We have fascinating, intelligent conversations, don't we?

At the end of my post, I apologise to Yanting. I always bully you with my emotional, overly-sensitive self. Thanks for being so forgiving.

Now I shall go watch the Chinese TV show my parents are pulling me to watch.

And wait for the FORGIVING Yanting's reaction to this post.

Ta!

Well.

Let's say Yanting is a lousy blogger and ignore the first post.

So the foundation of this blog is actually boredom, in bold, and although the two founders of this blog, Charis and Yanting, are very bored, you can see we actually are very lazy as well, because we also refuse to change the blogskin.

First of all, let us make it clear that our boredom is NOT because of the holidays. We are always bored, as we can vouch for each other. Thus being so, many times we find ourselves too bored to blog, so do not be surprised when we self-declared bored people seldom blog in our boredom blog.

Second of all, we are not USELESS people. We do actually have things to do, as much as it doesn't seem so. Yanting is an artist, and Charis actually learns guitar. And this is besides our third language lessons and individual CCAs. We just happen to be bored one time too often.

Thirdly, the two of us are actually not classmates anymore, but we were. But it doesn't really matter because we still have third language class together.

Fourth, all are invited to join this blog, but must first go through inspection of both Yanting and myself. It depends on your level of boredom that decides if you can apply successfully.

Now for our first boredom project, we will be listing out ways of conquering boredom, which we ourselves often use. Yanting has already listed five, but since we are ignoring her post... Oh well.

We should be getting a tagboard... soon. With bored people, you never know.

By the way, since this blog exists, and I'm a very lazy person, I'll probably end up neglecting my old blog, www.charismatical.blogspot.com Still, be free to tag me there.

Yanting will probably neglect her blog too, www.whitewritings.blogspot.com, so tag her there. Sometimes I think we should just blog on our tagboards.

Alright then, til the next time we are bored enough to blog. (I think soon, because Yanting must retort to me ignoring her first post and there's no tagboard).
